Fix It with BioTech

From the biotech news front, here's a story about plants being used to fix pollution. Sounds neat. Here's an implant that makes your stomach think you've eaten enough (I'm waiting to buy on for $19.95 on cable television) Harvard is building a computer system that uses artificial intelligence to scan medical records. But that's not the coolest of the bio-news.

Scientists have taken old cows and made them young again by injecting stem cells (yes -- that is a bit of an overstatement. Read the article for the full details) It seems like every time you turn around, stem cells are in the news.
Whatever the results of all this action, it's clear that biotech is going to be a big player over the next 20 years in WTF.

Recently I created a list of books that hackers recommend to each other -- what are the books super hackers use to help guide them form their own startups and make millions? hn-books might be a site you'd like to check out.
On the low-end of the spectrum, I realized that a lot of people have problems logging into Facebook, of all things. So I created a micro-site to help folks learn how to log-in correctly, and to share various funny pictures and such that folks might like to share with their friends. It's called (appropriately enough) facebook login help
