HP Eliminates 15,000 Jobs

| | Comments (0)

CNet is running with a story that HP is going to cut close to 15,000 jobs next week. If you're worrying about what's going to happen to your job, have you considered "individual outsourcing" -- where you personally find somebody in India to do your job, pocket the difference, and spend your time looking for new work?

"About a year ago I hired a developer in India to do my job. I pay him $12,000 out of the $67,000 I get. He's happy to have the work. I'm happy that I have to work only 90 minutes a day just supervising the code. My employer thinks I'm telecommuting. Now I'm considering getting a second job and doing the same thing."

Word this week that African countries want to be big players in the Business Process Outsourcing gold rush, so that might be somewhere to look as well.

So I created a micro-site to help folks learn how to log-in correctly, and to share various funny pictures and such that folks might like to share with their friends. It's called (appropriately enough) facebook login help
