Looks Matter

I read once that in the first 10 seconds of meeting someone, you've formed an opinion about them. Now researchers have discovered that online dating is all about looks. This could easily come under the "duh" department.

The study was done by economists, and they find that the Gale-Shapley algorithm is a great predictor of who will hook up. E-Harmony -- the jig is up. Now anybody with a profiling tool and this algorithm can be the perfect match-maker.
