TiVo Upgrade: Ads More Intrusive

Reuters is running a story today that TiVo is going to make ads more annoying.


ads embedded with special "tags" will pop up as small pictures, sporting branded logos, even when users are fast-forwarding thought those commercials. However, TiVo says the changes will not affect the way users normally view shows, and will not force them to watch any ads they choose to ignore.

Now this is what I call a business model! Annoy your customers for fun and profit!
