I'm Ready For My Close-up!

| | Comments (3)

For those of you who are stuck in an office somewhere, thinking about the beach ---

Yesterday we packed up and headed out. The drive was beautiful, and the beach is completely gorgeous at this time of year. There are no crowds. We spent last night checking in, getting groceries, and checking the place out. I got up this morning and sat on the balcony, by myself, and watched the sun rise over the ocean. Listening to the surf, I read a really funny Dave Barry book about song lyrics. After a while, I walked over (walked!) to the Starbucks for a large Chai.

Today? It's fun in the sun!

Rub it in Daniel! Well, off to hell for me.

Enjoy!!

I saw that you have a page that discusses patent-related resources at http://www.kaichia.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=852. I wanted to suggest adding www.freepatentsonline.com to the page. This web site has free PDF downloading (instead of having to page through TIFFs like at the US PTO). It is by far the best free patent searching site.

I saw your site and wanted to mention a couple good sites for intellectual property research:

http://www.FreePatentsOnline.com
http://www.SumoBrain.com

These sites provide free patent searching, along with free PDF downloading (bulk downloads possible on SumoBrain), annotating and sharing documents with other users, free alerts for new documents, and more.

If you have a spot, a link to let your users know about the site would be excellent.

Recently I created a list of books that hackers recommend to each other -- what are the books super hackers use to help guide them form their own startups and make millions? hn-books might be a site you'd like to check out.
On the low-end of the spectrum, I realized that a lot of people have problems logging into Facebook, of all things. So I created a micro-site to help folks learn how to log-in correctly, and to share various funny pictures and such that folks might like to share with their friends. It's called (appropriately enough) facebook login help
