Welcome to the strange and mysterious

| | Comments (1)

In the last 24 hours, I ran across three different odd stories on the net. I thought they were interesting. So get out your tinfoil hats, and join in the fun!

UFO Over Poland
UFO spotted over Poland! Who knew they were stealing all our hubcaps?

First up is a story of a UFO sighting over Zdany, Poland, a place known for having a severe shortage of vowels. As the story goes, two men were returning from a wedding party in January, 2006, and suddenly see this -- flying hubcap! No. Now I'm spoiling it. They see a strange object in the sky. One had a high-quality camera on hand, so presto-chango, now they're UFO witnesses.

The moral to the story? Don't drink and drive comes to mind first. You can read the whole drama over on this site. If nothing else, it sounded like a lot of fun for those guys. I wonder what they were serving?

Strange object sighted by Saturn probe
Cassini-Huygens imaged an odd thing in Saturn's orbit. Giant floating snowmen?

Whatever they were doing, the guys at NASA must have joined in. As we all know, every now and then one of the probes comes up with a strange image. Every time, it turns out to be tricks of the light. I'm certain this is one of them as well. But one day, maybe a probe will actually see something important. Then all the guys at NASA will be saying something like "That's not a space station, it's just a moon" Then we're going to be sorrrrrrrry.

Finally, Dr. Stephen Greer of the Disclosure Project has stated that he has two sources inside the SETI program that say that we've actually detected alien life. But - -and get this -- that the NSA and NRO are actually jamming the signals. What with the Iraq and Afghanistan war going on, I guess those guys don't have a lot to do any more. Might as well jam suspected alien signals, right? Messing around with those scientists -- that's always a lot of fun. You can read it all here. The site is called "Alien Video" and I've never been there before. I wonder if they will have a cable channel coming soon? Seems like everybody else has one.
