Horror Movie Titles so Bad You Have to Rent Them

| | Comments (1)

Some movie titles are so bad you just have to rent them....

(Scroll down to see the list)

They'll dance for a fee, but devour you for free
I've noticed that if you can't scare people, you can at least show them a little skin, so a recurring theme in this list seems to be "show them the girls!" Some movies, like this one, get right to the point in the title.

Psyched by the 4-D Witch
Dancing monsters. A 4-D witch. I've got to admit that I'm feeling pretty psyched just thinking about it.

They'll scare your pants off, and give you a chill for life!
What's supposed to scare me more, the hillbillies or the house?

She's not just a nymph, she's a nymphoid barbarian -- that's the best kind. And where else would bad dinosaurs to to, except dinosaur hell? Maybe this movie would be more scary to dinosaurs, or more attractive to horny barbarians.

it was supposed to be a weekend getaway, until the horror began!
Well if it's going to be scary, it's a good thing it takes up the entire weekend. I certainly wouldn't want it to be something like "The Saturday afternoon from hell!" which sounds more like a family trip to the mall.

She's hot. She's sexy. And She's Sutured to Please

First there was "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous", so you knew eventually they'd get around to figuring what the erotic dead are up to

Gasp! At the thrilling mountain adventures and sing along with our hero as he feasts on human flesh.
Nothing says "sing-a-long" like cannibalism.

You'll never go near the bed again!

Aliens attack the north pole! Who will save Christmas?
I haven't seen this, but I think the big man in the red suit can kick some serious alien booty.

Based on a true story. Hong Kong's most disturbing film ever!
E-gad man! Whatever you do, don't let it out of the soup!

I bet this is a great movie to rent for a Halloween cookout

This movie has a disturbing plot involving lizards and women's underwear

Women caged like animals! The human zoo!
You don't see a lot of films with "zoo" in the subtitle.

Stripped naked! Chained like animals!
This must be next to the insane women house

I think I saw something like this in college

If you're hairy you belong on a motorbike!
As if werewolves weren't scary enough, think about the innate evil that biker werewolves have.

Half man. Half monster. All terror!

it was supposed to be a weekend getaway, until the horror began!

They won't go down without a bite

Cannibal! The Musical isn't a horror film; it's a comedy. As far as I'm concerned, it's the best thing Trey Parker and Matt Stone ever did. (Santa Claus Conquers The Martians isn't a horror movie either, but I haven't seen it so I can't say if that one's any good.)
Also, why do some of the titles in the pictures not match the titles you list in the article itself?
Third, where can I find a copy of The Carpet Of Horror? I'd like to see that one.

Comment Policy: I really, really, really enjoy comments, but if all you have to offer is general platitudes like how happy you are to have found my site and what a wonderful place it is, I will delete your comment and report your comment as spam. Please try to either tell me I am wrong, sympathize with my point, expand on what I'm saying, or offer your own experiences or opinions. If you just want a link your best bet is to just ask for one. Probably won't work, but at least be honest about it. No name-calling and please keep the profanity as low as possible. If your grandma can't read it or you wouldn't say it in person, don't write it here. Thanks.

Recently I created a list of books that hackers recommend to each other -- what are the books super hackers use to help guide them form their own startups and make millions? hn-books might be a site you'd like to check out.
On the low-end of the spectrum, I realized that a lot of people have problems logging into Facebook, of all things. So I created a micro-site to help folks learn how to log-in correctly, and to share various funny pictures and such that folks might like to share with their friends. It's called (appropriately enough) facebook login help
