Looks like Bill Gates is still touting the Tablet PC form factor. I've had a tablet for several years now, and once you really try one out, you'll never go back. Still, sales have not taken off like they should.

There's still a lot of buzz on the net about the Tablet PC, and it's going to be the device of the future. IBM has a new model out, which looks very nice.

But do we consider the tablet format when designing applications? Probably not. How many of us, unless we were specifically told, think about section 508 compliance? (Required for people with disabilities who use the web) Sure, we're doing this a lot more now than we have in the past, but I think we've still got a long way to go. Nothing preachy -- just wanted to bring it up. For more information on section 508, check out this link.
