Yesterday we went for a train ride, skyrail ride, hike, museum visit, and aboriginal culture lesson.

The train to Kuranda getting ready to board
All aboard!

Cairns sunrise
Sunrise at the dive town that wants to be a beach town

Barron Falls
Barron Falls on the way up wasn't as
photogenic in the dry as it is in the wet

The Barron River in Kuranda
Gorgeous views of the river along the jungle walk

Crocodile along the Barron River
This guy couldn't decide whether to wait on the bank
or look for food in the river
I got within 20 yards of him, but he didn't seem too interestedl

Kuranda Venom Zoo
It's tough when they give you a snake and tell you to hang out front and find business

Butterfly at the Kuranda Butterfly Museum
Cool butterfly

Another butterfly
The place was full of beautiful butterflies

Stream along the jungle walk
The jungle was deep into the dry season, where the animals burrow down and wait
But this stream was still flowing, giving life along the banks

I took a picture of Jack taking a movie of Katrina taking a picture of Mommy
Okay. Maybe we have too many recording devices

Tjaptukai Culture introduction
We had a blast at the Tjaptukai Cultural Center

Tjaptukai playing a PVC pipe
After floundering several times trying to play the didgeridoo,
this fellow showed us how to do it using PVC pipe

On the low-end of the spectrum, I realized that a lot of people have problems logging into Facebook, of all things. So I created a micro-site to help folks learn how to log-in correctly, and to share various funny pictures and such that folks might like to share with their friends. It's called (appropriately enough) facebook login help
