A Riddle Meme...Are You The Answer?

My friend over at Homeschooling in Illinois caught me with this clever meme. I think you will enjoy it too! Read the clues below and if one applies to you, then consider yourself tagged!

1. History is my thing....history and books and politics. And if you don't agree with me, you can take it up with my 18 year old, 6 foot tall daughter and her black belt!

2. Flying the friendly skies gives me great stories to tell my readers. Some would qualify for the show Believe It or Not?

3. My child is in preschool and I am obsessed with eggs and cute lunches!

4. I enjoy walks, riding my bicycle, swimming in the pool, helping my son with his paper route and blogging.

5. I love taking photos, I recently lost a dear friend and am looking for a substitute, and thoughts of my mom come into my life every day.

6. I have a son with Down's Syndrome. I enjoy writing and sharing my knowledge with others to help them on their homeschooling journey. I want them to know that nobody's perfect!

So, if a clue points to you, then you are tagged to join in the fun!

123 Book Tag

My friend, Lizzie has tagged me with the 123 Book Tag. I did it awhile back, but since I now have a different book in hand, I thought I would go ahead and do it again:)

The rules are quite simple:
1. Pick up the nearest book of at least 123 pages.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the next three sentences.
5. Tag five people.

"We understand that not everyone has a family likie ours, and we'd be exaggerating if we tried to make our family sound anything near perfect. But we hope you catch a vision for collaborating with family - if not with the family you have now, then with other families in your community and with the family you'll have someday.

One of the greatest benefits of modern technology is that it lets us connect with like-minded people regardless of location. Many of our best friends are people we know primarily online, and yet we've been able to work together on some exciting projects."

These lines come from Do Hard Things: A Teenage Rebellion Against Low Expectations. This book has the power to change the world. And I am giving away a copy of it on my blog! So if you would like to learn more and join in the contest, check out my post about Do Hard Things.

As to the tagging part. I have seen this tag around a bit among my bloggy friends. So if you haven't had a chance to do it or you are looking for some Monday blogging material, feel free to join in! If you do, let me know and I will link to your post below.

1. You're next!
